Joint Entrance Exam Advanced is a national level entrance examination conducted for the admission to undergraduate, masters or dual degree program to IITs, NITs, IIITs. JEE Advanced has been conducted by the seven IITs including IIT Kanpur, IIT Delhi, IIT Guwahati, IIT Roorkee, IIT Kharagpur and IIT Bombay.
- JEE Advanced is a computer-based online test which will be held in two shifts.
- The duration of the examination will be 3 hours.
- JEE Advanced consists of 2 papers, Paper1 and paper 2
- IF the students are interested in Architecture programs offered by IITs have to qualify the Architecture Aptitude Test (AAT).
- There will be a separate syllabus for AAT.

Eligibility of Joint Entrance Exam Advanced
- Candidates should have passed 10+2 examinations from any recognised institutions with an aggregate mark of 75% for reserved and 65 % for unreserved categories.
- They should qualify the 10+2 examination in science subjects.
- Applicants who have qualified the JEE MAIN can apply for JEE Advanced.
- Candidates should never admit to IIT or ISM.
- Applicants can apply for JEE advanced for maximum 2 times in a consecutive year.
- Students who want to join for Architecture programs offered by Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) must qualify the Architecture Aptitude Test (AAT).

How to apply for Joint Entrance Exam Advanced (JEE Advanced)
- Candidates can apply for JEE advanced either through online or offline.
- Normally the application for JEE Advanced is announced after the completion of JEE MAIN.
- At first, the applicants have to register his name by creating a roll number and password.
- They have to enter their name, date of birth, parent’s name, communication address, education qualification, valid mobile number, email id, if candidates are interested in Architecture program, they can choose AAT.
- Applicants can choose the examination centre as per their preference and the language of examination
- Candidates have to upload passport size photograph and signature in the prescribed format.
- Those who are eligible for reservation category, have to upload the supporting documents.
- After applying, applicants have to pay fees for JEE Advanced.
- The fees can be paid through online by using Debit card/Credit card/Net Banking.
- After fee payment, the candidates can take a printout of the confirmation page.
