Data Forensic is a part of the discipline, Forensic where the subject matter is to create or track information for the investigation purpose. Here the information is tracked or recovered by using computer networks, mobile phones or any other devices.

The students who are interested in digital forensic investigation, incident detection, cyber breach investigation can go for various courses in Data Forensic to build their career in this field. 

There are bachelor, master’s degree and certification programs in Data Forensic. The students can pursue their course depends on their need, interest and key job area. After the successful completion of the programs the aspirants can find their career in EnCase forensic analyst, Network administrator, Systems analyst, and Forensic computer analyst.

B.Sc. Computer Forensic 

B.Sc. Computer Forensic is a 3-years graduation program with six semesters. Through this bachelor’s course, the students trained to find, collect, analyse, record, track the evidence for investigation purpose using digital devices. The students can familiar with the latest techniques and tools used for the investigation purpose.

The students who pass the 10+2 examination with an aggregate mark of 50% in science stream can apply for the graduation program.

Some institution may conduct entrance examinations for the admission purpose. 

M.Sc. Computer Forensic

M.Sc. Computer Forensic is a 2-years post-graduate-level course with four semesters. The forensic is important for many fields like law, archaeology, geology, astronomy and biology that will help to investigate the past data.

The students who pass the graduation in Forensic Science or any Science stream can join the master program.

They also have to secure 50% of marks in graduation.
