Eligibility of Indian Maritime University Common Entrance Test
Candidates who are applying for IMUCET should meet the following criteria.
- Students must be between 17 to 25 years.
- Applicants who are applying for B. Tech, B.Sc. should qualify 10+2 examination in science stream with an aggregate mark of 50% from any recognised university.
- Candidates are advised to have a passport before applying IMU CET.
- Students who are willing to join any maritime course should provide a medical fitness certificate.

- IMU CET is a computer-based online exam.
- Duration of the examination will be 3 hours
- For undergraduate programs, the number of questions will be 200 and for MBA and M. Tech programs will be 120
- Each correct answer carries one mark and then there will be no negative marks for wrong answers.

- Candidates can submit their online application by visiting the website www.imu.edu.in to fill the application form.
- Applicants have to fill their details like name, date of birth, communication address, Educational qualification, Gender, and nationality.
- Students can select their exam centres as per their conveniences.
- Candidates are advised to upload the passport size photograph, signature and the proof of 10th, 12th mark sheet and relevant documents for validating the reservation purpose.
- Fees are applicable for IMUCET and can be paid online.
