Southern railway zone opened the apprentice vacancies

Southern Railway Zone has announced 3382 apprentice vacancies for the freshers’ category, Ex-ITI, and ITI categories. The Fresher category includes the posts for painters, welders and fitter. For this, the candidates who have qualified 10+2 Exam or the equivalent examination with 50 can apply for this category. The next category is Ex-ITI, where, Advance Welder, Fitter, MMV, Diesel Mechanic, Machinist, Carpenter, Painter, Welder (G&E), Wireman, Turner, Refrigeration and AC Mechanic, Plumber, Draftsman (Civil), Electronics, Electronic Information Technology, COPA are included. Here, the candidates have to clear 10+2 or equivalent/ ITI in trade with 50% of marks. Whereas, the post of Electronic Mechanic requires SSLC passed students who are acquainted with physics, chemistry and mathematics. Those who are qualified for diploma, Apprenticeship, and graduate courses are not allowed to apply for these positions.
