VSSC has invited the application for Research vacancies that are meant for Postgraduates. The qualified candidates are appointed for one year. But the duration may be extended up to 5 years. The official website of VSSC said that there are 12 JRF vacancies. The targeted candidates are postgraduates in Physics, Applied Physics, Atmospheric Science, Meteorology, Planetary Science and Space Physics. The candidates are required to qualify for their M.Sc. program with an aggregate minimum mark of 65% for applying for this research (JRF) vacancy.

Along with the post graduation, the candidates have to clear either the CSIR-NET examination, GATE or Joint Entrance Screening Test. The selection will be on interview sessions. The performance of students in this section will decide their final eligibility to get the JRF. The call letter will be intimated through the emails and the final result will be published on the official website of VSSC.
The interested applicants have to submit their applications before July 19, 2021. Only online applications are allowed to apply for the vacancy. While applying, the candidates have to upload the scanned copy of M.Sc/M.Tech certificate, GATE/JEST/NET certificate, and also the proof for SC/ST/OBC categories. All these certificates have to be uploaded as a single document.
