Type of Course

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (Post Basic) is an undergraduate nursing program. This B.Sc. program is available in both the full-time and part-time basis.

Duration of the Course

The timespan of B.P.B.Sc. Nursing is 2-years. The syllabus of the program is separated into four semesters.

Eligibility Criteria

  • The students should pass the 10+2 examination (science stream) with an aggregate mark of 50% from any recognised institutes.
  • A male nurse, trained before the implementation of the new integrated course besides being registered as a nurse with State Nurses Registration Council, shall produce evidence of training approved by Indian Nursing Council for a similar duration in lieu of midwifery in any one of the following areas such as O.T. Techniques, Ophthalmic Nursing, Leprosy Nursing, TB Nursing, Psychiatric Nursing, Neurological and Neurosurgical Nursing, Community Health Nursing, Cancer Nursing and Orthopedic Nursing.
  • The candidate should be a registered with General Nursery & Midwifery and State Nurse Registration Council.
  • The admission purpose is different from institutions to institutions.
  • Some institutions may conduct entrance examination and interviews for the admission purpose.
