ICAI confirmed that the CA exams will not be rescheduled. They indicated that this is a short period of time to conduct the review as we expect a third wave of the pandemic from September to October. ICAI also stated that some students are willing to try the exam and about 2,82,000 applicants have already downloaded the admission cards. The authority also opposed the suggestions made by some candidates to provide free medical treatment for the candidates who may be infected with COVID 19 by attending the examination. Since the supreme court has already allowed to conduct plus two examinations in Bihar and Kerala, ICAI wants to conduct the exam in this short period. A further postponement of the exam will lag the examination amid the third wave predictions.
