In this current period, there are a lot of courses and opportunities that have high possibilities. So, it will be difficult for the students to make the right choice for their future. Majority of the students faces confusion among the numerous choices along with the pressure from family and society.

After completing Plus Two, the students have to choose their specialised courses or career depends on their streams in higher secondary education.

There are three main streams in plus Two.

  • Science
  • Commerce
  • Arts

While selecting the graduation courses the students have to keep some points in their mind that guide them to make the right choice of courses. This includes:

  • At first, the students should think about their passion and a determined view regarding the field in which they are interested to build a career.
  • While selecting the course, the students should know about the subjects and areas covered under the selected discipline.
  • Along with the interests of students and the subject matter of courses, the students have to check the job and prospects of the selected courses.

Science Stream

The choice for higher education will depend on the stream in which they are specialised. The students who study Science with Mathematics can choose the following higher education programs.

By looking through these options the students will get confused to select the appropriate one. For selecting the proper courses, we have to mind the following steps.

  • At first, the students have to understand their real strength and weakness such as personal traits, aptitude and interests.
  • Second, narrow down the search for the careers according to the interests, personality traits and aptitude.

For supporting the selection, the students can seek guidance from various education consultancies and career guidance.
