UGC official notification informed all colleges and universities that there will be a mandatory exam for Final year degree students. Whereas the academic session for intermediate students will start soon without any final exams. UGC informed that the last guidelines are similar to the academic year 2020-2021. As per last year official notification, the intermediate student’s evaluation will be as follows. The evaluation will be based on the student’s performance in the current year and the performance in the previous semester. That is, 50% marks will be awarded based on the internal evaluation adopted by the universities and colleges. The remaining 50% will be awarded based on the student’s performance in the previous semester.
The final semester examination will conduct compulsorily no later than August 31, 2021. The examinations will be conducted either offline, online or a blend of both the online and offline modes. The next academic sections of the intermediate students will also be conducted either online, offline or in a blended mode. In addition to that, all colleges or universities should ensure to start their new admissions only after the declaration of the results from CBSE, ICSE and State boards.
