Difficulties in fixing the plus one seats for the eligible students

Kerala SSLC results had published on July 14, 2021, which showed recorded results of 99.47% of pass percentage. Due to this recorded result, the authorities are facing difficulties in preparing the rank details for the purpose of plus one admission. The authorities are unable to fix any parameters for the admissions to plus one as there are no grace marks for the students.

While considering the whole state around 3.63 lakhs plus one seat are available. Among these many districts do not possess excess seats to accommodate the eligible students for higher studies. The government is planned to increase the number of higher secondary seats in these districts in proportion to the number of eligible students. The plus one seats in Palakkad, Malappuram, Kozhikode, Kannur and Wayanad has a low number of seats in proportion to the number of SSLC winners.
