D. Pharm. is an undergraduate Diploma Course in the medical field of pharmacy. This filed is included in the preparation, dispensing and appropriate use of medication used for therapeutic purposes. This course provide qualification to be a registered Pharmacist in India. There is no specialization in D. Pharm. and the course just provides the basic concepts of pharmaceutical science. This course opens several career opportunities for aspirants. This course is divided into two parts i.e. Part I and Part II. Eligibility:
- Candidate need to pass 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry and Biology or Mathematics.
- A minimum aggregate score of 50% (45% for SC/ST/OBC candidates) at the 10+2 level.
- Some institutes also conducts Entrance Test for admission.
Entrance Tests: Part I examination is conducted to examine students of the first year course and Part II is conducted to examine students of the second year course.
