CBSE has released the new schemes for the next academic year 2021-2022. The first update is dividing the entire curriculum into 2 terms. By dividing the entire academic sessions, the authority will include the 50% syllabus in each term. This approach will ensure the probability of conducting board exams for classes 10 and 12 at the end of each academic session. While arranging the syllabus for each term, the board will ensure the interconnectivity between topics and concepts of each subject under the guidance of subject experts.
The final exams will be carried out at the end of each term and the efforts will be made for conducting internal assessments or practical work more credible and valid. The remaining guidelines and moderation policies will be fairly distributed to the students.

Till any updates from government authorities, the schools will conduct distance mode of education. The internal assessment of classes 9 and 10 will include practical work, periodic tests, projects, student enrichment and portfolio.
For the higher secondary students (class 11 and 12) the internal assessment include unit test, practical, projects and exploratory activities. These internal assessments have to be uploaded to the CBSE IT platform. For evaluating the internal assessments, the schools are instructed to create their student’s profiles and maintain the same in a digital form.
