Eligibility of Birla Institute of Technology and Science Admission Test
- Candidates should qualify 10+2 examination from a recognised university in Science subjects with an aggregate mark of 75% (except for B.Pharm students) in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (who choose Mathematics in BITS) an aggregate mark of 75% in physics, chemistry and Biology (who select Biology in BITS), with at least 60% marks in each Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Mathematics
- For B.Pharm, candidates should be passed 10+2 examination from any recognised institution in subjects like Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
Exam pattern of Birla Institute of Technology and Science Admission Test
- BITSAT is a 3 hours computer-based online test.
- The test includes four parts. They are:
Part- I: Physics
Part- II: Chemistry
Part- III : (a) English Proficiency and (b) Logical Reasoning
Part IV: Mathematics or Biology (For B. Pharm candidates)
- Questions are multiple-choice questions with four options.
- Each correct answer carries three marks and a negative mark of -1 for wrong answers.
- The total numbers of question are 150 with total marks of 450.

How to apply for Birla Institute of Technology and Science Admission Test?
At first, candidates have to read the instructions and guidelines for applying BITSAT by visiting the official website bitsadmission.com
- Candidates have to register their application through online by entering details like name, date of birth, gender, email id, mobile number and a password for the registration process.
- After registration, applicants have to fill their communication address, academic details, parent’s name, and nationality.
- Candidates have to upload the scanned passport size photograph and signature and certificates of 10th, 12th class in a prescribed format mentioned in the brochure.
- After entering the mandatory details and documents, applicants have to pa the application fees.
- The application fees can be submitted either through online or offline mode.
- Through online mode, the payment made by using Debit/Credit cards, Net banking. For foreign candidates who are not residing in India can be done by International credit and Debit cards using an online payment gateway.
- After successful submission of application and fee payment, candidates can take a print out of the confirmation for future reference.
