All India Law Entrance Test is a national level entrance test for the admission to various law programs. AILET is conducted by National Law University Delhi.
National Law University (NLU) sets the AILET as the standard for gaining eligibility to B.A.LLB, LLM, PhD programs.
As this entrance exam is conducted by NLU, no other universities or institutions can use this score for their admission purpose.
This is an offline mode exam and the duration is 3 hours.
The eligibility criteria for LLB, LLM and PhD programs are different.
The total number of questions will be 150 and all the questions are MCQs.
Applicant should have to qualify 10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognised examination.
No age limit for applying AILET.
Candidates who are appearing for 12th examination can also apply for the entrance test and they have to submit the evidence of 12th certificate at the time of admission.
Those candidates who are applying for LLM should have LLB or equivalent degree in Law with minimum marks of 55%.
For PhD programs, candidates should hold an LLM degree with an aggregate mark of 55% or have a master’s degree such as MPhil, in Social Sciences, Humanities from any recognised university.

Applicants are advised to read the instructions before applying for the examination.
Candidates have to enter valid details in the Registration form like name, date of birth, communication address, parent’s name and a valid email id and mobile number.
After creating an account, you have to login to the first page and select the list of colleges that comes under National Law University.
Applicants have to upload passport size photograph or signature in the prescribed format mentioned in website.
After entering all details, enter next step which is making the fee payment.
Fee payments can be made online by using Debit/Credit card/Net banking.
After making payments, candidates will receive an email confirmation.
