The second wave of COVID-19 disrupted the proper operation of the education sector and the examinations that followed. The students have raised their concerns about delaying various exams and plead with SC to declare the exam dates. Like the same way, the NEET and JEE Main 2021 has postponed amid the second wave. By analysing the current pandemic and relaxations of lockdown situations, the ministry of Education and NTA are planning to take quick and proper methods to conduct both the entrance examinations. Since there exists a third wave possibility of COVID 19 the authorities want to use these present conditions to conduct the exams.

Hot discussions and possibilities are carried out within the authority for conducting the JEE Main and NEET 2021 between July and August. Both JEE Main and NEET are conducted for the graduation admissions, the concerned authorities may plan to hold the exams after the publication of CBSE Class 12 and intermediate examination results of the state board. CBSE has also planned to publish the Plus two results by July 31st.
The second wave and the related lockdown restriction at many states have disrupted the regular exam schedules of NTA. Ministry of Education said that, if the situations are conducive JEE Main, NEET 2021 would be conducted at any time on 15 days. The official declaration related to the dates and further details will be declared by the Ministry of Education and NTA. The students have to wait till official notifications are published.
